So this was when I first got my wacom tablet, about a year ago. And oh how I love it so.
Honestly, it is one of the few drawings I have done on my tablet that I acutally liked. There is about 10 layers of work here, both sketch, fine line, and some color worked in.
The character is from the Applegeeks webcomic, created by Hawk and Ananth. I'm a big fan and I enjoy their many stories and strips. This is the wonderful Mac Android, Eve, created by Hawk's comic-self because he couldn't get a girlfriend. The story arc was one of the best I've read in an online comic. And it was even more fantasic when I got the chance to meet them over a year ago at AnimeUSA in 2005.
In the backdrop of the Eve sketch is a bust of Captain Power, Hawk's comicself superhero form.
For some reason, I am in love with made up, silly, webcomic heros. lol.
Anyway...here is how far this sketch has gotten since I started work on it ages ago...
Going to finish it? Nope.
Make another one? Hell yeah. I want to be one of their guest artists the next time they ask for art.
